How much should I be paying for stocky TF motor?

G'Day all,

Im new to Gemini's and have a TF Auto just as a runabout but the engine is rooted. I've rang a few places here in adelaide like gemi spares and a few wreckers but everyone wants $450-$550 for a engine. I don't wanna pay that much as I didnt even pay that for the whole car.

How much should I be paying and can anyone put me onto someone who may have the engine im after in Adelaide?

i just payed $50 for one with a lightened fly wheel and a heave duty clutch.... everythig on it fine.... it depends who u know but im in canberra so cant help ya out, just look around, ask people!

hey every week or so, i see gemi's for sale in the trader at morphet vale. maybe 2-3 a week !!! what, is it like gemi mania or sumthing down that way ?!?!

I reckon the biggest gemi areas are around salisbury/elizabeth. Always see plenty of gems around that area in the trader.

Though quite a few down south too.

LOL nah not an eye catcher. Wouldn't have seen me either only got it 2weeks ago. Its a stocky TF Auto....don't laugh. I only paid for what was left on the rego for it. But engine is fucked so im looking for another engine.
