Gem Heater?

Hey i had a bloke call me today for some parts and he wants a heater for a 83 model gem, i have one from a TD and i was wondering if they are the same? and if so what is a reasonable price to sell one for? please answer a.s.a.p thanks heaps cya.

yes they are the same i have a td heater in my 84 tg sedan. I got it for $20 with warranty from the wreckers

i was told that when you do a dash conversion you have to change the heaters cuse they are a different size... which makes sense to me judging by the shape of the dash...

could be wrong

i think they mean the aircon box thing that the heater attaches to, the one for the tf,tg is diffent to the tx-e ones, could be wrong tho

Hmmm, the TE heater core is the same as the TD and earlier, but I saw a TG's once and it was different. Therefore I assume the TF might also be different fron the earlier ones.
Regards the aircon evaporator box, I beleive that has also changed from TE to TG. The one in my TE is different from the TG one I bought.

i think the heater cores are all the same, i got one out of a td and it fitted in perfectly into my tg
