what are the benefits of 4 into 1 extractors??? is there any flaws with them as well??

I dont want a car for racing. just driving around town, lapping and stuff.
I have seen a few search forums, and i want to know if 4:1 or 4:2:1 extractors are better.

For things like thrashing around town, laps etc........
4-2-1 are better for these low rev applications, its when you get into higher revs that 4-1 come into their own.
