where the hell is everyone getting the "fire wall needs to be cut" bull shit from?????? iv seem 5 sr20 gems no cuting, iv seen 2 fj20s, no cuting aslong as u have a custom exhorst manifold. iv even seen the straight 6 turbo supra gem and the only reason he cut the wall is cos he wanted power stering.

Any specific references gene? Because not "everyone" says you need to cut it..

BTW, if you were going to the trouble of an engine swap for something other than a drag car (motorsport for people who can't turn corners IMO), then why not mount the donk as far back as practicable.

yeah but u dont go as far back as to cut apart the car...... u just asking for mains roads dept problems....
im just saying the last thred on this topic most of them recon that u have to chop this and chop that.
when u dont really have to.
