anyones heater fucked and freezing ya ass offf in winter. well me and a mate fixed that in his gem.
things needed.
1 drill
2 several wine bottel corks
3 string

step one drill holes in fire wall.
step two tie string to corks
step three put corks in holes.

done.
when cold pull string and corks come out and insta heat!!!
hehehehe
no joke it does work!! HAHAHAHA

I would probably be more inclined to get a new heater core or unblock the current one. A bit of compressed air usually does the trick.

you could also consider a hot water bottle, maybe even a new heater core, late tx onwards just pull out the side once you remove the hoses,

you could just run the exhaust into the cabin, that air is nice and warm

hahha or u can just get a electric heater and shove it on your floor and buy shitloads of extension leads and plug it in to your wall and go for a drive

is it possible to buy small monkeys and attach them to the corks instead of string? they would then pull the corks out when they get cold so it would all be automatic.
