I have removed the old brake pads in te front of my TG dics but there is no way i can fit the new pads in as there is nowhere near enough space? How do I release some pressure from the brakes so there is a gap big enough for the new pads?
Thanks
Ben

use a reasonable sized g-clamp to push the piston back into the caliper. slip the clamp over the caliper and just wind it up so it forces the piston back. just watch that you dont spill brake fliud all over the place cos as you push the piston in it might overflow the resivior on the master cylinder.

Take the cap off the resevoir and wrap a wrag around the top of it to stop overflow. Then get either a G-clamp or a big set of multi-grips and push the piston on the caliper back in, until you have enough room to fit the new pads.
