advice on exhaust systems

i want a bit of advice on exhaust, i am looking for loudnes and a bit of performance. i gather 2.5' is about my best bet but that is as far as my knowledge on this goes, help me out here please, and i would like an approximate price on any suggestions u have also please. thanks...........

2-1/4" is the biggest u'de probably go(loss of back pressure)if u want performance go mandrel bent in 2" with extractors(sounds good but doesnt attract any unwanted attention...plus it makes a big difference in power)

Agreed Jess. Any bigger than 2 1/4" would lose you top end, unless you planned to turbo the motor later. Then, the bigger the better.

if you want your gemy sounding fucken sick get a gilmor drive for about $250 but if you want it sounding even better go see a engineer and ask about getting a gilmor drive made from steel as it will last longer then the alloy ones. i was priced $150 for steel

gday i have a 2.5 inch exaust on my gemi, if i put a 2,1/4 exaust on there how much power difference do u rekon there would be?
