K, im not sure how to word/describe this idea i have had, so ill do my best and hope someone can put it together.
I have a heap of Stainless steel mesh(damn good quality) in all sizes. Basically, I intend to use it on any critical area through which air flows.
Initially, my idea was to place the SS mesh behind the grill on my TE, but, on a dumby assembly, i descovered that due to the angle at which the grill sits, it isnt very visible. Because although i wont it for its funcionality, i want it for aesthetics as well.
I then thought that i could fuck the original grill off altogether, but because the grill encorporates the housing of the headlights and indicator lights, i wont. I have now decided that i can partically encorporate the stainless into the original grill. I would hte leave the light housing, and place the SS in the gap between it. I think this would look damn nice. However, im stuck on how to attach the SS to the Grill.
Any input appreciated.......Cheers |

yup, i've made up a custom grill on my TE. I dont have any pics at the moment, but it looks mad I used stainless mesh, its pretty expensive but definitely worthwhile.

Did you make it yourself??
Do you think you could describe it for me. LIke, did you replace the original grill altogether, or did you encorporate the stianless into the original grill?
If so, on what part/s of the grill did you use the SS
Also, how did you attach the SS to the grill
cheers.TIm |
