Knocking noise from back end

When i'm cruising alone in my TE doesnt really matter what speed I can hear a knocking noise from the rear end. Not an internal diff noise, I'm thinking maybe them bushs in those 2 rods that go from the diff to the underbody (Can't make a name for them atm) Is this likly?? If so how much are a new set of nothanes and are they 2 peice or do they get pressed in?

u got a different fuel pump?

My TD has a new fuel pump in the back and i can hear a bit of a "knocking" sound coming from it.

When I had this noise in my TE it was that the bump stops had fallen lose from the springs.

Could be loose shock mounts too.

it's a back forwards knock more than an up down knock. Hear it more when you change gears

Yes sonny, I have a knock just like that in the back of my TE too. I think it is a shock mount and one day when the rheumatism isn't so bad I'll find out.

it sounds like loose lower control rods the things that connect the diff to the body
