panelvan possibilities?

hey guys

i was just wondering if it is possible to put a bench seat in the back of a panelvan? i'm looking at getting one when i get my P's, but the only thing that is kinda stopping me is the fact that they only have 2 seats...

any suggestions?

yeah i was thinking bout that, but they don't look as good... is it possible to remove the 2 back windows on each side and replace it so it looks like a panelvan? is that even legal?

it is very possible to get panel van panels and put them on a wagon, im pretty sure it would be legal, y wouldnt it?

i was thinking it may be illegal, because i was thinking of doing the back 2 windows on each side, so the 2 windows at the very back and the 2 where the back seat are had panels on them.

but as i was saying before, what law is there against back passengers not being able to see out of side windows.
your best bet is to ring qld transport and get a straight answer

hey

it is elligal to put seats in the back of a panelvan... pr to cover in the sides on a wagon....well in NSW (i rang the rta TO SEE)

as the back seats need a way to get out in the case of an acident.....

so if you want a 5 seater get a wagon or sedan but if you wanna panelvan get it as most of your mate will probley drive themselves as soon as they can........

but if you wanna take the back seats out you can over the window gaps.......

i want to get a panelvan to.....i wanna do it up like all the hz,hq at shows...and im going to live in it to....

Hey man,

i have a TD van. There is a tray that covers the back seat frame thing. i have cut mine out to hinge it so i can stash things under it, mainly stereo bits and pieces. Buy a van, cut this out, put the seat in it after you get it rego'd and your sweet. If the cops pull you over it is just a foramlity. Just go through getting the canary taken off by taking the seat back out, and then, in the same day after its back on the road, put it back in.
