some people say i need to put some kind of lead replacement in my car to use optimax and some say its fine dont worry.
whats the right answer???

you will be fine if it is a standard gemini, to use unleaded, LRP has other toxic stuff which will clag up your carbi and create excess wear so that old Leaded cars can be fased out,

| Hey eggy Is it best to run 50-50 you still need to look after the valves? And is it that all cars befor 86 had to run on leaded fuel. Can anybody out there tell me wantfuel a standard gemini should run on. I have been told lots of storys Thanks guys |

| u can run on pure optimax no probs, u should set ure timing to +11 degrees and get it dyno tuned or tuned propably. ie where they connect it up to a emissions machine to get the best proformance. |

50-50 what???? ULP LRP PULP????
LRP (new leaded fuel) is just Premium Leaded with additives, to work simular to Leaded fuel, all Gemini's have hardened seats, so ULP will be fine if it ping's then used PULP.
