I have to be a smartarse, but their major faults are that they aren't GEMINI'S!
It might be easier getting a gemini wagon and converting it to a proper panelvan when you can find some side panels. Don't forget that the wagon backseat folds down flat so it's just like a panno anyway.
How much do you want to spend?
HQ vans etc either seem to be rusted shitbox's or $15000 show cars.
I used to want an EH van, but soon found out that it wouldn't happen cheap. Then I discovered the GEMINI panelvan!
Funny thing is now I'm spending $$$$ doing the Gemi up ;o) |

My van isn't even on the road yet. It's being completely rebuilt way too slowly, but that's what happens when you don't have much spare time.
For the back I'm going to have a rubber mat cut to shape and covered with marine grade carpet the same colour as the carpet in the front. The walls will be covered the same as the rooflining, but they will be padded out so when it's covered it's all smooth. Maybe continue the design of the door trims onto the walls. At the moment I have one 15" sub in a big ported box to go in the back. Later on I'd like to do a good install with two 15's and flush mount the amps in front of the box. It should be filth eventually.
What have you got in mind? With 20 grand it'll be insane. |
