F**kin hell i cracked a bit off my inlet manafold were the last left hand top hole is(were the bolt on the cylender head goes through) its cracked trough the 4th cylender inlet manifold bore , so its not air tight any more

Is there any way to fix cracks in the inlet manifold ??
brassing? anything?

please help!

you should be able to as it is alloy and tig can reach nearly anywhere

Have you considered another inlet manifold from a wreckers for like $5 cash??

You could get it welded, probably cost $50. You could use some 2 part gunk, probably cost 15. You caould wrap tape around it, pretty cheap. Why not just use a 2 pack epoxy from supermarket?

masking tape works well one exhaust manifolds... keeps the under bonnet heat down so that the full sick pod filter gives u big big hp bOOst

Ha I did that once. They snap pretty easy when you bolt them on crooked. I reckon the best way to go would be to get a new one. Least messing around. Go for an early model one (pre-emmision) from a TX or something, they seem to flow alot better.

mmm yeah i would just buy out another manifold but my one i have now has been ported and polished with an adapter plate on it for a weber , i just cant afford to go buy another and get is ported and shit...

so TIG welding will be the best thing?
