Just looking through the used car price estimates at drive.com.au, i came across something i hadnt seen/heard of before. It seems in 1977 and 1981, for the TC and TE respectively, they made something known as a Sandpiper Gemini. From what i can see, they're identical to their counterparts in power (and 20kg difference (TC Coupe) in weight on the TC), the only difference i can see is at the bottom of the page, where it states there's a Black Grille. The TC's also came in coupe fashion. And the TE's were labelled as "Sandpiper II".

Sorry for the mess of a post, i'd been finding things half way through the post, and it probably seems convoluted to you people.
Anyway, i'm after more info on the sandpiper.
