Urgent help needed!!

Just rebuilding a g200 and we ran into a problem. The motor has a double row timing chain, and it rubs on the gear of the oil pump. At one point we couldn't even turn the engine over by hand. I assume someone on this site has to have a double row chain so if you ran into this problem, how did you overcome it?? Please reply asap.

the gear needs to be brought forward a little and that there is a bit of grinding to be done aswell. coz i have one but did it the easy way (got someone else to do it)

The gear on the oil pump shaft? If you move that how will it line up with the dizzy shaft? And what do I grind??

no move the gear for the double row timing chain and also do you have the thicker timing cover gaskets for the double row timing chain?

It's about as far away from the oil pump gear as possible. It's almost rubbing on the chain guide, and there is dick all room to move it any futher

well you get them from rollamaster
or you could make them from real thick gasket gunk

Or just use 2 standard gaskets
