I'm redoing the interior (roof) of my wagon in carpet. It may sound a bit weird but it was already half done when I bought the car so I may as well continue it and make it look tidy.
Any idea what kind of glue I should use to attatch the carpet to the metal ?
I got a quote from a retrimmer to do it and he said about $140 all up.. I figure I could do it myself fairly easily for a bit less. (Providing the carpet aint too expensive) |

Yep Contact would be the way to go. A word of warning if you havnt used it, theres no room for error, once you place the carpet on the roof, you better hope youve got it right because you wont be re-positioning it in a hurry.
good luck |

You can also buy contact adhesive in an aerosol. Easier to apply to fabric surfaces. |
