My battier keeps on going flat and it is a new one.3 days ago i took out the entire fuse out to see if it is something constant power or not. Well it's something constant. The question is there any other thing that runs constant besides the starter motor and the fuel pump relay. please Help if you can.Thank's Bro's.

ok then,

do a test leave the car for the normal lenght of time it takes for the battery to go flat but this time have it disconnected, that way you can test if it is just the battery,

OK, then,

do you have an ammeter? or multi meter,

if so,

disconnect the + battery terminal,
connect the ammeter between the battery and the + cable,
like a fuse, make sure no cables touch the body.

then see what current your system is drawing with the ignition off, DONOT try and start the car you will blow the multimeter up!!!

then start to track it down,

do you have a aftermarket stereo?
do you have an amplifier?
have you added anything electrical?

if still no luck ctc an auto elec,

but from memory the Gem does not use any power once the key is off, as there is no stereo memory, no computer..

cheers

Got a boot light you've added? Or a glovebox light? Interior light switch set to "door", not "on"? Lighting circuits are direct battery.

Yonnee.
