Hey, if my compression is really low in cylender #3 and i got a shit load of fuel fumes comming out the rocker cover then whats the most likly problem?

Maybe it's the valve stem seals, or the seats that aren't up to scratch.
Anyone else have ideas about this one ?

Stuffed rings will cause this. As the compression stroke comes up on #3 and it fires, it will go past the rings, down to the sump, up the oil drain holes in the block and head and into the rocker cover. Try putting a squirt of oil down the spark plug hole and test the compression again. The oil will temporarily seal the leaky rings and the compression will come up a bit.
