Definiately not,
it's good and cheap, I get about 300-350 KMs to a full tank for about $20,
have a look at:
http://www.gasresearch.com.au
they make performance gas systems,
Cheers

Gene, a dedicated lpg engine goes just as good as a petrol, its when you have the option of both that it goes like shit. |

So people do read what I write... LOL
Rob, what I meant was, (and I'm still thinking about this) if you were going to put the 2.6 on gas, It would seem a waste to purchase an EFI motor that you would still require the ECU. Unless the distributor was a "stand alone" unit that wasn't controlled by the computer in which case you could be able to scrap the computer to run on straight gas. Because LPG like more compression, It might be more cost effective to sling a 1600 head on a G200 block, run an Electronic dissy curved for gas, and outrun the previous combination. But then again, the intake plenum of the EFI motor would be friendlier on a turbo conversion cause piazza manifolds are a dime-a-dozen, NOT! LOL
Gene, LPG has a higher octane rating than regular fuel so it can cope with higher boost and higher compression. If you run dual fuel, you have to comprmise to still allow the motor to run regular petrol without detonation.
