Everything is in properly and i cant get enough adjust, ment to disengage fully unless i use home made washers etc. Something must be wrong but it beats me what is it?? Had the same prob with a 9" clutch i was using, without trying to rip the clutch cable out of the firewall with spacers and washers etc the other thing you can do is take the gearbox out.. again. The (cant think of correct name for it) metal bit that the clutch leaver clips on to can be unscrewed, take that out and put a few large washes in there. When you put the clutch leaver back on you will notice that the thrust bearing can slide a lot further down the shaft which should solve your problem.
Have fun. |

Just a thought, but my twin diaphragm clutch needs spacing washers (approximately 1.5mm) between the pressure plate and the flywheel on each of the fastening bolts to give it the correct throw. Have never heard of problems with a stocky. Did they sell you the right replacement? |
