does the TX have the taller first gear??

So yeah reading from corty the early four speed would be good for drag racing? or would the even taller desiel be the go?
and also the early four spd has bolts on top or different sytle casing?? |

the very early model 4 speeds (reverse is left and down) were of opel design and they also had different floor pans. Apparently they had a closer ratio spread and as such the gemini racing series competitors liked to use them due to the regs of the time. |

After comparing the TX 4spd and the 5spd I installed, I prefer the taller 1st. Acceleration was a little quicker and changing 1st to 2nd wasn't such a pain in the arse... |
