just been to my mates house for some ctd schooling. He has had his since new- so he still has all the paper work on the car and all the mods that were done by cdt. He also has all the price lists for the replacement parts aswell.he has a series 2 number 28 and another friend did have no27 but that was the last of the series1 ctd's.
MY brain is hurting from the amount of info I had to take in today they are a very interesting vehicle and bloody tough too . will copy all the paper work and print on site

yeah I a mechanic that likes the old gems so i do a bit of work from home- i specialise in perfomance engine rebuilds

alot of head aches and cir clips
replace bearings ,sicro's and any damaged gears, check clearances and all moveing parts for wear and repair what needs to be done- got 1 now with a smashed selector

No, but I've got one...three actually. One 4spd in Racegem at the moment, another bolted to a supposedly "worked" motor I picked up CHEAP, and a 5spd I picked up also cheap, but I don't know of its condition. I'm fucked if I'm going to all the effort of putting it in to find it needs a rebuild anyway! lol
If you're reasonable, I'd rather give you the job than some workshop that could do a shit job anyway. And working where I do, parts are no problem.

cool no worries i dont charge much any one from hotgem gets mates rates anyway-and if its stuffed i will tell u it is before u spend a cent o.k.

well yeh id be defiately be looking at getting it done in the next week or two
