It was suggested to me to fit a SCAT V4 into the gemini with a Chev g/b and belhousing.
any thoughts ? opinions ?
I know they use these Scats in sprint cars and can probably pick one up fairly cheap. Would it be worth it ? |

Sounds like a great idea in theory
BUT a lot of work
Most Speedcar engines are Dry sumped, so lot of oil lines and special reseviours and pumps.
Also intake manifold may be a drama due to speed car running mechanical injection. Great for going flat out, terrible for cruising and general driving. Forget Fuel enconomy.
Also these enginces are set up for high reving and methanol fuel. Again not practical.
As i said anyrthing possible, but dollar for dollar a injected turbo piazza is heap easier and problably cheaper in the long run |

| ummm trying to recall the convo .. 14K .. a while since I had the convo tho. The fact taht all Chev parts will fit in was appealing. |
