A TG is running on leaded, as they all do apart form the Diesel's. I heard that using ULP will do some damage. Is this the case ? If so is there some kind of conversion that can be undertaken aside from a new engine.
Any help would be good thanx. |

Harder exhaust valves, or use some sort of valve lube in the fuel. (upper head lubricant additive). |

yeah as all alloy heads have haredened valve seats the only thing to do is run hardened valves
and use a high octane fuel sush as optimax or ultimate 98 |

Yeap there is a conversion to run ULP but its real hard so you might need to wright this down.. Next time your at the servo to fill up, instead of picking up the leaded pump, pick up the unleaded pump and pull the trigger.. conversion down everything else to run ULP was done by Isuzu 30 years ago .... HAHAHAHAHA Smart ass bastards LOL
I was told recently tho that if I began using ULP then it would prety much be farked. I have probably only touched a ULP pump maybe half a dozen times in my life.
I have NFI ! So a conversion is NOT required ? |
