I thought I'd start the thread again, because I couldn't find any useful information about the event - no offence to those who started it.

When Gemi_king wrote "Whose coming Friday night?" I peaked out, thinking "Shiiit it's early this year!! Is it on THIS WEEK??!?! AAAAHHHHH!!!!!"

I've finally found the info I was after.

Friday 15th February
- 7:00pm - cruise departs - not sure where from yet
- 8:45 - burnout comp - not sure where - AIR?
- 10:00 - Trophies, then close

Saturday 16th February - Adelaide International Raceway
- 10:00am - open for spectators
- 11:00 - Qualifying begins
- 5:45pm - Eliminations
- 10:00 - finals & grudge racing
- 10:45 - close

Sunday 17th February - AIR again I assume
- 10:00am - gates open for spectators
- 12:00noon - Go to Whoa comp
- 2:00pm - motorkhana & spear a spud
- 4:30 - Trophies and official closing

Sounds like fun. Hope some old school Geminis, Dattos, Celicas, VWs and even a Mini or two can keep those riceboy racers in check. Blow off valve noise competitions! Bwaaahahahahahahahahaa! Give me the drags and the driving comps any day....
