Those Isuzu I-Marks were actually built in Japan from what I have gathered, and imported into the US. The actual US Geminis, the Chevrolet Chevettes, were quite different.

Yeah I don't think any Isuzus were built in the US.. I don't think they were nearly as popular as the chev chevettes over there |

Not likely!!! The Chevettes were selling in excess of 400,000 per year in their late 1970's hey day.
The Isuzu probably number in the thousands - probably less than ten thousand. |
