I was impressed by the 4" extractors and 3" twin exhaust pipes. I whish my engine was tuned to HSV standards. Cant quite make out the turbo on his imported isuzu 1600, the stock exhaust seems to be in the way, the stock airfilter also unfortunatly inhibits the view of the 4 barrel carby. |

Go the invisible turbo and 4 inch extractors that appear to be the standard manifold. |

If that car does the 0-100 in 7.6 seconds, then my Breadvan must be substantially faster.
Because I have real extractors, not pretend ones.
I have a twin-throat Weber, rather than an invisible 4-barrel that somehow manages to incorporate the standard air-filter.
I have the correct sized exhaust for my engine work - because if that's a 3" exhaust, then it's probably too big for the engine anyway.
And mine has a little cam.
In fact, mine looks better too, and the Breader is no oil painting.
I dare say that my car is faster, looks better, handles better and stops better than that HSV Gemini.
Actually, makes me feel pretty good about my car too, because I don't have to make up bullshit to pass it off as OK. I tell people what it's got and they make up their own mind.
Got dragged off by a new Pulsar (numberplate INARUSH) the other night - that didn't feel good. Conversely, I dragged off a sheila in an EA Ford who thought she was shit hot until I slayed her. That was good.
Colour coded stockies - very HSV. |
