| I dont know about the 001 as the Turbo's come later. But I am supprized it wasnt stolen after he bought it .. ( the reason why CDT stopped making cars is he went to jail for stealing the cars back from his customers) |

| im not shure how the numbering went on the CDT's but im asuming being 001 it may be the first of the S3's and yes very rare as only 30 S3 were made |

I never heard about that.
You sure??!??!?! Sounds far out.
Fairly plausible though. Steal it, rebirth it, sell it again - who would suspect the builder?
Does that mean that 30 were built? Or that about 10 were built and all were sold about three times!!!!

Of course Im sure it was in the papers, and as I said he went to jail for it. anyone over 30 years old should remeber .. but then again Im showing my age  |

| That car doesnt go too bad for a factory turbo car nearly 20 years old. Saw it in a drag with a 13BT RX3 on friday night. Gave it a run for its money. But dont know about $15500 though. |
