You can fit 215s on 13" rims (old-school style mags)
You can usually go up to about 205 on a 14" rim - that's what I've got and my car is substantially low (but legal)
My mate had 205 15s on his, but only on the back
The larger the rim size, the less width your going to be able to fit, I reckon. |

Offset is the big killer, I have BMW / Alfa rims 15x7 and can run 205/50/15's on the rear only just, |

17's are possible with the right offset. But you cant lowwer it more than about 2 inches. And you need fairly stiff suspension. |

You can run any 38 pos offset 17 inch wheel with 205/40/17 tyres and lower it as much as you wish as long as you have an adjustable panhard rod, and you "SHOULDNT" have any scrubbing.
If you do wish to fit adjustable panhard rod and roll (not flare) the guards, i have 14x8 inch dragways with 235/60/15s on the back but its a tight fit on the inside and the out. Still no scubbing though, unless the boot has a heavy ass tool box or sumthin. |

You have 15" tyres on a 14" rim.
Fantastic. |
