u all say that u r sick of one wheel spiners/skids and spining 1 wheel when u take of at the lights?!?!?!?
me and 2 of my mates all have tg geminis with standard open diffes (one wheelers) but when we do line locks and plant it of the lights we get 2 wheels spining. i also can cut 2 wheel dough-nuts if i turn left, but if i turn right i get one wheel!! whats up with all the 2 wheel action in out gems???? when there stock diffs?? i have had 3 different diff centers in the last 5 months and they all do it _________________

I have found that too. If you give it a shit load (provided your car has a bit of go) then bboth wheels will spin. Proved this in a few gemi's, a corolla and an escort. |

Im assuming those 3 different diff centres are second hand.
One of the early warning signs that your standard diff is about to give up is that 2 wheels start to spin in a burnout. Ive seen it happen time and time again - the planet gears wear so badly that there is less friction in powering the left hand axel. Enjoy the 2 wheelers though! |

yeah...
...i've got a stocko open wheeler diff....
...second gear pretty much always twins up in my TX which provides some fun drift action...but first usually just unleashes on the inside wheel... |

I knew a guy who snapped his planet gears and just arc welded up the diff centre. He ended up only having drive through one axel. Never seen a funnier thing than a stock 1.6 doing a 4th gear static burnout. Or dropping a cog on the fly and lighting up in 3rd. Nearly killed himself in the wet though! |
