In the local trade and exchange:
Vauxhall Chevanne, 2.3L Bedford, 5 speed Toyota Celica, Holden gemini diff.
Cause I know chevettes and geminis are cousins, but the chevanne? What else did this motor come in?
Is this the 4ZD1?? I would go have a look myself but its a hours drive away and Ive got exams.
If it is how easy do you reckon it would be to put in my car (TF panel van), bearing in mind the celica box.
What bits from my motor will fit it?? Like my vernier cam gear.
How much power and torque do these things make?
Cheers all.
Michael. |

The 4ZD1 would have only come in Isuzu's
It says "2.3L Bedford" meaning a bedford engine? |

Yeah but i never heard of another 2.3L so I was just wondering.
Sounds like a bitsa with the celica box on it.
And its got a gem diff in it
And cause of the gemini/chevette thing i thought they might have put the 4ZD1 in these.
Spose the only way to find out is to go have a geeze.
What should I be looking for to tell??? |
