I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how much the most u can shave of the TX head because ive been told if i plane 2 much off the motor wont run properly!! please help!!!!!!

I'm not positive, but isn't there some kind of marker on the head? By the way, if you shave to the limit, if something goes wrong, IE warped head or something, you will need another head, cause you won't be able to shave any more off.

You can shave down to the valve seats.

You engine will run, but you will have retarded cam timing the more you shave your head. You will need a vernier cam gear to correct it.

Instead of macining heaps of the head, try putting in heaps bigger pistons, its a lot better.

wat about getting the cylinder heqd weld filled to increase compression??

It can easily be done, but it is hard to put in metal in the right spots. You have to take into account the squish ring and try to retain it, and you have to consider flow out and into the valve area.

If done right, though, this method is probably better.
