The holly blue only run at about 14psi, so you will be able to use it but probably not be able to run turbo boost over about 8-9psi. Better off getting a vl turbo fuel pump or similar. |

Depends if you are going blow through or draw through. In draw through applications, it will be fine, as long as you use the included regulator.
In a blow through application, it will limit the amount of boost you can run. They are rated at 15psi, but I know someone who has been using one after converting the pressure regulator to a rising rate type, and running around 20psi of boost. I have doubts about its ability to flow enough fuel at this pressure though. It was fine on his engine, but it was only a 1.3 litre.
The best bet in a blow through application is to get a standard bosh fuel efi external tank fuel pump, as fitted to numerous cars including efi pulsars, astras, camiras, VL commodores, etc. They are all the same pump. This combined with a rising rate regulator such as a malpassi will let you run enything up to about 35psi of boost.
They are rated for over 300hp which is I assume more than ample. A VL turbo pump will be able to supply even more fuel at a high or higher pressure, nor really needed though.
Cheers!

nah, draw through setup you dont need to worry about high psi fuel pumps and rising rate regs etc normal carby fuel pump should be fine. |
