| If you have a standard late model gearbox then second gear has a ratio of 2.175:1 so to hit 95km through the stock diff you would need to be pulling about 8000rpm |

| Well that answers that one then... it almost certainly was... I miss that engine, it would (and was built to) rev happily to 7500 all day long... I hope you are enjoying it james. |

I certainly am Adam.. Loving it.
and I got a Brandnew Falcon weber on it thats running heaps nice. Top speed ive taken the engine is prolly only around 135 when I was doing the qtr mile. I dont really drive fast for no reason hehehe |

Thats about right, I hit 100kph according to my speedo (I wouldn't trust it), in second gear and i was pulling 8000rpm approx so said my monster taco. I would have looked closer but when your going around a tightish sweeper in second and the car is begging to change up a gear you don't have alot of time to glance around at your gauges  |

yeah like i said im gonna kill my car so ive been giving it a major thrashing but if it can pull 8 grand without complaining, maybe i should let it live, cause it wasnt even blowing smoke i recon its too late now though...
yeah it is a TE with standard 4 speed and diff.

| Dor my TH gemini with 7 people going up da 45 degree hill wiv da 110km/h headwind running on like 3 cylinders and 10 inch wheels did like 150km/h in like third. no shit bros. she was like PULLING real hard and still had 'bout 200km/h left at least. with only a smokey 400,000 km old 1600. |
