on my TE (diesal), there are black stripes going down the sides, rather chunky ones, car is white. I was wondering , if they would be screwed , riveted, in the panels , or just stuck with glue , cos im planning to remove them, but dont want to weld any holes up.

I have the same ones only i cant take em off till i get a respray because the double sided tape that is used to put them on has stained the clear coat of paint. So itd look just as stupid to take am off and have stains all down the side.

the best way to remove them is with a hairdryer. this weakens the double sided adhesive heaps, and with a little bit of care the stripes come right off. do it on a hot sunny day and itll be easier still.
