i know this has been asked a million times before but im only after a simple answer so sorry.

the question is: will a g200 fit straight in usin the same carbies, exhaust manifold etc. cheers for the help and once again sorry

if your going to use the niki carb off the g161 then it will run but you will want to have it re jetted to suit the 2 ltr.

Yes it will bolt in, but you need to use some bits off the 1600 aswell. You need to use the 1600 engine mounts, and I think the alternator bracket is different, but you can simply bolt on the 1600 item.

The timing covers are differnt, besides that, everything else like starter motor, manifolds, heads, carbys, etc are intercahnagable. I would not use a Niki on one of these engines though, stick on a 32/36 DGV, they are the easiest conversion.

the sump off a 1600 will have to be used due to dipstick location.
