I test drove a ZZ/T today...

what a beast of a car Smile

grey import, 1983 TG shape... 1.8dohc injected, rx3 brakes hardened suspension

quickest and most fun 4cylinder car i have ever driven

and best part is i'm buying it within a week... so its goodbye to the green machine.

If you want a Gemini in sydney my TX is now for sale, lookin for around $800

email me for more info and pics.

How cool is that?

One of Isuzu's rare beasts (in this country at least).

Good luck with it.

Yeah it will definatly be going in the gallery!

I spose it will be under stock, cause it is in stock condition... but would give some of the modded cars in there modded gallery a run for their money. Wink

I dont know if i wrote this before but it actually used to be a police car in melbourne, it was imported through a melbourne dealership, then the cops had it, then a cop bought it ex-cop, then his brother bought it.... then i bought it off his brother.... dosn't make alot of sense i know but it is interesting to know a cars history.

Dave : i think this might be another one for your compendium (has it been a year yet? Smile i'll give you as much info as i can, i havn't been able to find much at all, only a couple of pics on the Isuzu clubs website...

Cheers,
Martin

So is there an actual model called a ZZ\T, I heard of only ZZ\Z the Aussie verson thats just cosmetic tacho dash etc, and the imported ZZ\R which are very very rare, theres a guy here in Melbourne thats got one, 4wdiscs, 1.8 Twin Cam efi its a coupe with a TG Front and the back looks nothing like the models here! It nice to see everything there from the factory

Yeah thats what it is, 1.8 twin cam 4 wheel rx3 brakes etc

except its a 1984 model so same shape as a TG... with all the same cosmetics as the ZZ/Z

for some reason its different to a ZZ/R but im not sure how as yet, its really hard to find info so if anyones got some it'd be great to hear it

Nah, it's been about 3 years since I originally started it, lost the original version and then re-wrote it.

Then every time I reckon I'm near the end, I find more info to include - that's the thing, I wanted it to be definitive and have every bit of info I could find - I thought there would be an end to it, but there hasn't.

It's drying up a bit now, but I've been slack.

I'm sorry. It'll happen, trust me.
