The motor isn't in properly yet, still waiting on the sump to be modified. But from my initial fitting, the gear lever will all most certainly interfere with the handbrake.

So the options are to shift the handbrake back (looks like it would be a pain in arse to do!!), or put a bend in the gear lever so that it clears the handbrake.

Wont know for sure until the motor is installed and the mounts are sorted out...

I have spoken to a mate who works at a machine shop that apparently can do the sump mods I need. Hopefully find out this week.

Is this the black TD wagon I see on Friday nights around Harry's ? rego OTD-079 ? I am assuming so, unless you are in another state.

Cheers

Yeah,
I do not go there very often, but that would be me!!
I might have to frequent there a little more often once the motor conversion is complete.

Yeah I have seen you there a few times now. I havent been since I t-boned an escort a few weeks ago. I have a whiote TE wagon. Had the round headlights, but *sigh* no more. Used to have a set of dragways on it, and it looked neat. Now it is multi coloured, white and orange (from the escort) and square headlights.

See you there one day then

Cheers
