The aligning studs between block and box are a tight fit. Check the clutch is lined up. If it's only 10mm, start a couple of bell housing bolts and tighten them a bit at a time each. Should help pull them together.

i had that problem, no matter how much bolts were tightened, it turned out to be the clutch not aligned. :s

gauranteed to work...
pull the box away from the motor, bolt everything up EXCEPT the clutch bolts, tighten the clutch bolts upp as much as you can with your fingers and make sure the clutch is fairly aligned, then slow try and line the box up (it may need to be turned a bit from the part where the tail shft goes) and then it should slide on, if it doesnt then something else is wrong, then upll it back off (carefully trying not to knock or bump it) and tighten the ctuch bolts back up and then it should slide on and be ready to line everyting else up..if it doesnt i can give you a hand over the phone or in person if you live local.
