hey all just thought i let u no i took my pretty much stok 2ltr down the 1/4 last nite i did a 17.689 wif reaction of 0.1560..im aim for a 15 to 16

You should get it if you can get good traction, dump the clutch a bit off the line, and maybe rev it to 5000-5500rpm before changing gears.

Flat changes help too, ie, minimal clutch, and not taking foot of accelerator (well only a little bit to stop it overevving).

You should at least get a low 16 with practice.

reaction of 0.1560 should have been a red light... Sure it wasn't 1.560 ??
Still, a mid 17 has to be at least a second or two faster than a stocko 1600 sedan. Good on ya for getting out there and giving it a go man.

jason they changed the way the measure reaction time to co inside with the NHRA so a .156 is acutally .5560

I didn't know they changed the R.T setting, when did that come about ? I get what you're saying though, they just take the "perfect" 0.400 out of the equation to get your actual R.T.
Is that how they measure it across the board now with all catagories ? Or just street classes ?
Gemskee, thats actually a pretty decent R.T dude, good on ya.
