Hey man, that bloke i was chatting to about the jet sizes told me that because i'm running the Facet V8 fuel pump, i need to use a pressure regulator.
When i bought the pump from AutoBarn they said coz i'm running a return line off my Niki i dont need a regulator as excess fuel will simply go back to the tank and not flood the carb. I've been running the pump on the niki unregulated for over a year without a problem now. The 32/36 i grabbed had a return line bunged, so i thought i could just buy the fitting and fit the return line. When i told him this he said that the Webers are too sensitive and i definately need a regulator set @ 5psi.
Whats the dealio there ? do i actualy need to go and buy a pressure reg to keep the weber from flooding??

Cheers man

Cheers man, main concern was that it was the pump recommended for a V8 so i wasn't sure on rated pressure delivery. But if you've run one unregulated on both single and twin set-ups it must be all good.
Thnx duder.

yeah. what he said.

If you are buying all this gear for it, it wouldnt hurt just to give the head a bit if a port job - or do a budget match-port and the inlet and match it to the manifold. all you need is a die-grinder (air compressed ones are the best) and a vacum cleaner so nothing gets inside the head.
