G'day,
Was driving me gemmi the other night over a bumpy road, i noticed the heady's and dash lights started flickering on and off over the bumps. I pulled up at a T intersection, and the dash lights switched off, still had the headys but no dash lights. Got home, had a squizz at the fuses (as you would) and they were all fine. I pulled the switch to dash/park lights on, and also noticed i gots no parkers either ? Tail and front are both out as well as the dash lights. So me thinks it may be the actual switch.
Is there some kind of relay that controls these lights together that might be fuggered ? Or would the switch more than likely be my problemo ? I haven't got access to another switch or a test light, so i'm hoping someone here may know what the dealio is.
Ideas ppls ??

you ask me it sounds like either your switch or a bad earth.
maybe try tapping the switch while its on to see if its a loose conection or dry solder joint inside, have you tried twisting the switch nob cause thats a dimmer for your dash lights,

Yep, tried all the obvious & easy solutions including playing with the dimmer. I have no dash or parkers front/rear, so i'll trek down to the wreckers for another switch and see what happens.
Just thought some people on here may have known whether the switch was a problem on the older models, or if there was a relay that can be faulty at times.
