The slats of the grille are metallic grey and the strip that goeas under the headlights is body coloured. But that's factory, it's up to you how you paint it.

Hiya,
first, it's a TF right?? That is what BOTH the compliance plate and the number stamped into the radiator support panel both indicate, yes? The reason I ask is it's not impossible for your car to be a mocked up TF and the wiring is quite different in TE. After all it does have those headlights in a TF van. These lights were only in TF and TG SL and SL/X models. Standard and S model TF and TG Gemini used same lights as the TE with a new grille design. I don't know of a TG van having those lights.
Ok, you know about the grille now.
The pics are pretty poor quality and don't show a lot of helpful detail. If you could describe in some detail each plug as well as the pic it will help. Plug type, (number of slots and layout) colour, male ofr female, all help to identify it. Also the colours of the wires at the plug may help.

A point to remember in TF and TG is they only made two wiring looms to suit all models, and these were (a) petrol and (b) diesel looms. You can expect to find plug connections left vacant.

Ok, I just scanned the wiring diagram from a Gregorys manual. Not quite as good as a genuine, but I don't have one of those at hand.

Hope that helps a little.

Hows this.

1)Thats the plug that heads to the AUTO if you have one, otherwise not needed

2)It goes to the stop light switch on the top of the box, and the switch for the coasting enricher, or something like that, that one is also on the box and all four wires should be together leaving around the gear stick (there should only be 4 of those wires)

3)They go up to the carby and the engine sensors. One or two are choke, one it coasting enricher solenoid, oil pressure light, oil pressure gauge, temp sensor, and maybe one other

4)TF SL/X or TG. They can be black, grey or white, Some have the bottom stip chrome, and some have a badge in the middle and others dont.

Is that to the top of the gearbox?

2) top of the gearbox, i think the red two are stop and the green two are the other switch.
3)I guess I could do that
