ok looked in the gemini book more found in the wiring diagram there shoudl be a air con magnetic clutch
ok any idea where this is i cant tell properly from the wiring diagram
im guessing near the fron drivers side head light???
this is in a tg

on the diagram number 116

the clutch is om the compressor when you put power too the wire the clutch will pull in

well the closest thing on the wiring diagram is a headlight repeater

so errr like i said i dsont realy know how to read the diagram

all i wana know is can i make it so i dont have to turn the air con off when i come to lights cause other wise it will stall if i dont

you could always put a switch on the accelerator pedal to turn the compresser off when idleing

nah casue if you coasting along it would turn off if you take your foot of the accel

i need a switch to make the revs jump about 300rpm or so when its on

You could always rig up an idle step up device on your carby. I think the old carby commodores with ac had a solenoid (sp?) that engaged and basically kept the throttle open a little further when the ac was on to maintain the idle speed.
