Hey Dale, still hanging around a bit at the moment I see.
A little while ago I was talking to you about wiring for my microtech and its ignitor, and eventually it was sorted out. Since then I have killed 1 ignitor, and am on to a new one. Actually blew it yesterday, new one this arvo, right in time for my dyno appointment tomorrow.

Do you think there would be any reason for it to go if it was running fine? Maybe as it was S/H it was just nearly gone anyway? Any settings that could have caused it?

Cheers
Loz

Hey mate,

you could have the dwell settings wrong, if these are wrong you can burn them out, some bosch igniters use time and some use duty, you will need to find out what you have, i would go to a BIM27 it is a time base, 3.5ms, they are about $120 new or can be found on Holden cameria's

The Mt8 are no longer made and have been replaced by a LT8,

they are $1095 with loom and instructions,

Isuzu_gem has a Lt8 for sale that has a electronic dizzy to suit, coil and igniter, if your intrested email me dale@braidedlines.com
