Lock help

My passenger side door is permently locked and wont unlock. the central locking and solex lock have been romoved but the door still wont unlock. Anything I should try before I kick the door in with my steel caps?

check all the rods are conected at both ends Wink

done that. the rods are connected and it moves the pin halfway down the door, it clicks for lock and unlock but it wont unlock and open.

That door is a cunt anyway. The window shattered a few months back for no reason, the new window wont go in properly, the lock is fucked, the back of the solex lock snapped off and now its the only thing stopping me putting the car on the road. Bah.

If u desperatly need to open the door, grab a flat head screw driver, and (after youve taken the door trim off ofcourse) place it inbetween the latch and push (up or down dont remember) and the door should pop open.

Yeah its the latch whick is fucked. The leaver that moves up(?) is stuck and will only open if I push it. Looks like Im gonna grab the latch off of the coupe shell...
