| MY MATE HAS GOT A 2L TWIN CAM GEMINI COUPE AND NOBODY CAN TELL HIM WHAT KIND OF MOTOR, GEARBOX OR DRIVELINE IT HAS IN IT. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THERE IS A RALLY EDITION WITH THIS MOTOR BUT HE HAS BENN TOLD IT IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE PIAZZA MOTOR BUT ITS NON TURBO. HE ALSO NEEDS A NEW CLUTCH FOR IT AND HE WAS QUOTED $300 FOR A STANDARD ONE. |

Well, if it is a twin cam very similar to the piazza dare I suggest it is a N/A piazza twin cam, 4ZC1 engine? These motors have been put into Geminis a number of times, and are by all accounts quite acceptable.
The gearbox could either be a stock gemini 5 speed (or 4 speed or automatic) as these bolt straight up to the piazza engine. Or it could be a rodeo 5 speed, or it could be a piazza gearbox, you don't give any details so I can't help more than that. |
