Got another question, my heater.
My heater is fucked!
it spins i pulled the motor out to see it was working and it was. all 3 speeds.
I changed the heater hoses, replaced the heater cooler, changed the thermostat but theres no strong air coming through?
My other gem pumps out good air.
dunno what it is any ideas people???
Its 1 problem after another |

I would suspect that where the fan mounts on is clogged up with leaves and crap. When I was working on my TD, I pulled the whole assembly out and got two plastic shopping bags full of leaves and dirt and crap out of it. Failing that, check your underdash vents and piping. Other than that, I have NFI atm. Cheers |

if the fan is spinning... and your not getting any heat.. try flushing the heater core out with a hose, you'll prolly find a heap of mud will come out, if it doesnt then back flush it till you get a stream of clear water flowing thru.. then it will heat up nicely _________________

Man, im havin probs with my heater too, mine is blowing air but its not heating up even after i took the whole core out and flushed the shit out of it. Now i am taking off the intake manifold and am gonna make sure there isn't anything clogging up the pipe that the water is coming out of, check too see if the heater hoses going in and out of your heater core are hot, if they aren't then your not getting any water through which is my problem and i'll let you know when i fix it man, hopefully tomorrow., (if i can wake up before i go to work at 4pm...hehe wasted on a monday, lovin it)

Have you guy's had a look at the actual valve that the heater slide control is hooked up to ?
On my TX i have the bracket that sits on the firewall in the engine bay that controls the valve. The later models had the control elsewhere - i assume it's under the dash on the passenger side as the hoses actually pass through the firewall.
You may have popped the cable to the valve off at either the slide control on the dash or at the other end on the bracket that holds the valve.
If your fan still blows the air, and you are certain the water lines are clear, then that may be your problem.
