dose any one have any good ideas on how to get extra spark in a g160 engine even elactronic ignition and what stuff i will need to do it cheers justin |

Hey Justin,
just curious, whats wrong with stock spark??
Have you thought about different coil(s), plugs, better leads, etc.

well thats the kinda thing i want to know its got a bosh coil and ngk plugs and the leads are redy to be replaced so if u have any ideas i would gratly apreaciate it |

Well, if you go electronic ignition, then convert it to a dedicated 12V system at the same time, rather than leaving it as a Resistor based system. Cheers |

If you are running the original style oil cooled coil (Bosch GT40R etc.) Try replacing it with the newer design TRANSFORMER style... cooler running, more efficient, supposed bigger and stronger spark. Bosch part number GT40RT... it's a straight swap over
