just before i change gears, when reving a bit, my motor makes this weired noise, sounds like tappets, but real loud, maybe even sploppy timing chain i really dont know, it mainly happens when running low on oil. Sam |

Mine does that. I just put in more oil and it stops.

drive it up a steep hill and if the noise gets louder after say 200 klm's it will be the oil pump, it will eventually blow your motor, it has happened to me and a few people i know, it is usually caused by an oil leak and lack of oil OR it could be your oil pump is on its way out, Or it could just be that your bearings are shot, or all of the above, not trying to scare you, but it may just be the tappets, or it might be silght piston slap..how old is the motor? |

i had the same problem. the noise on my car was the bearings and piston slap. when u added more oil it would stop, but i had trouble trying to keep oil in it

and i forget to mention, that motor only lasted 2 months like that until it popped |

i was sick of cleaning the engine bay and bonnet so i ran a pipe from the tappet cover to A COKE BOTTLE! i filled the bottle in a few days.... |

i tried riging up a seperate oil filter
they just blew lots of burt oil smoke into the cabin
so i put the original oil pipe to the air cover back on
that way its still ok to drive with out getting sick
still puls 2nds and gets phat compresion drifts a
so im happy
for now but in a few months the engine is getting reconditioned |
